The Westfield Girls track team competed in the Hamilton Southeastern Sectional last Tuesday. They finished 5th as a team, but produced many Regional qualifiers. Among those qualifiers, the Shamrocks produced two Sectional champions. Princes Campbell won the 100 dash as she has most of the season, and Lucy Hauser continued her assault on the 100 hurdles, winning that event as well. Additonally, Princess and Lucy teamed up with Tobu Fapetu and Abbi Van Bibber to finish 3rd in the 4x100 relay, automatically qualifying in that event. Several other girls made it to the Regional by benefit of being among the fastest non-qualifiers from the 4 sectionals that feed into the regionals. Among those were Fapetu who finished 4th in the 100 and 200, Liz Smith who finished 4th in the 3200, the 4x400 relay of Van Bibber, Clara Cameron, Jordyn Landrum, and Briottany Brown (5th), the 4x800 relay of Gianna Ferreri, Robyn Schemel, Ena Durbin, and Olivia Barnett (7th), Julia Syljebeck in the high jump (8th), and Ashlyn Bauer (4th) and Paige Lemieux (7th) in the pole vault. Clara Cameron (400), Jada Henson (shot put) scored in the meet but did not advance. The girls are in action Tuesday, May 23 at the Lafayette Jefferson Regional with a chance
