Westfield Defeats Noblesville in Dual JV Meet, 75-52.

The Westfield girls track team beat Noblesville Thursday evening in a dual JV meet at Riverview Health Stadium, 75-52. The meet got off to a great start with the Shamrocks sweeping the 100 hurdles with Lauren Linville, E'layah Ballard, and Alex Hamilton going 1-2-3, and followed that up with wins by Reese Reagan in the 100 dash, and Ena Durbin in the 1600. The 4x100 of Emily Burns, Linville, Graysen Wheeler, and Gracie Czubik also won, and did Jordyn Landrum in the 400. In the 300 Hurdles, Linville won again, as did Lina Abriani in the 3200. In field events, Wheeler finished 2nd, and Amiyah Ballard 3rd in the high jump, Paige Lemieux, Hamilton, and Isa Galan finished 1-2-3 in the pole vault, and Kayla Stone, Wheeler, and Lily Burdette finished 1-2-3 in the long jump. Finally Margi Foland finished 3rd in the discus. Also scoring in the meet were Alana Shank (3rd in the 1600), Giannna Ferreri (2nd in the 400), E'layah Ballard (3rd in the 300 hurdles), Olivia Barnett (2nd in the 800), Burns (3rd in the 200), and Ava Britton-Heitz and Abby Lewis (2nd and 3rd in the 3200).
