The Westfield girls track and field team defeated Zionsville 77-55 Tuesday night at Riverview Health Stadium. The highlight of the meet for Westfield were multiple 1-2 finishes in the 100 hurdles (Lucy Hauser 1st, Madison Clary 2nd), the 100 dash (Princess Campbell 1st, Tobi Fapetu 2nd), the 300 hurdles (Hauser, Clary), the 3200 (Emily Loiselle 1st, Robyn Schemel 2nd), and the long jump (Fapetu 1st, Gracie Czubik 2nd). Other event winners were the 4x100 relay of Fapetu, Hauser, Clary, and Campbell, Ena Durbin in the 800, the 4x400 relay of Clara Cameron, Brittany Brown, Jordan Landrum, and Gianna Ferreri, and Julia Syljebeck in the high jump. Other scorers include E'layah Ballard (100H), Brown (400), Sydney Klinglesmith (800), Lauren Linville (300H), Jada Henson (shot put), Alana Halsted (discus), Syljebeck (long jump), Graysen Wheeler (high jump), and Alex Hamilton and Paige Lemieux (pole vault).
