The Lady Rocks opened sectional play on Tuesday night vs the Zionsville Eagles at Noblesville. The Rocks got off to a slow start falling behind early after the first few processions. Throughout the first quarter the Rocks worked to battle their way back into the game and trailed 10-19 after the first. The second quarter was slow for both teams with the Eagles scoring 6 points and the Rocks scoring 3. The score at the half was 13-25 Zionsville. The third quarter was a battle throughout with each team scoring 12 points to keep the game within reach. In the fourth quarter the Rocks worked to rally back, but fell short by a score of 31-45. Ellie Kelleher led the way with 8 points and 3 rebounds. Emmrey Collinsworth chipped in 6 points and 3 rebounds. While Kiki Loveless had 5 points and 3 rebounds. The Lady Rocks ended the year with a record of 12-11. Congratulations to Emmrey Collinsworth, Maren Dee, and Brittany Brown on great careers for the Lady Rocks basketball program.
