The Rocks suffered a tough defeat Thursday night at Brownsburg 32-42. Off to an abysmal 26-5 start, the Rocks hit the reset button at halftime and came charging out in the second half. Paced by Brody Sutton and Ja'Deon Smith, the boys were able to trim the deficit to 17 going into the 4th quarter. A few forced turnovers in the 4th allowed the boys to cut the deficit down to 5 with a little over a minute to play after a Ryan Hunsucker corner 3. A solid 8/11 night from the free throw line was led by Nathan Adcock hitting 2 late free throws. In the end, the 16-2 first quarter and 10-3 second quarter created too steep of a deficit for the boys. The Rocks are back on the road Tuesday night with a big opportunity for a conference win against HSE.
