The Lady Rocks opened HCC play on Friday night Fishers. The Rocks came out strong leading 9-7 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the defensive effort continued and the Rocks led 21-16 at the half. The Tigers came out of halftime fast and took the lead in the third quarter 24-32. The Rocks worked to fight back in the fourth quarter, but fell to the Tigers 34-40. The Rocks were led by Lindsey Van Dyke with 9 points. She was followed by Emmrey Collinsworth. Aubrey Crockett and Ellie Kelleher each chipped in 6 points and 2 assists. Kelleher also contributed 8 rebounds. The Rocks are back in action on Tuesday night at Pike. JV will start at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
