WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! The JV girls volleyball team capped off an amazing season this past Saturday with a tournament title at the JV volleyball invitational hosted at HSE. The girls had to notch wins against both Fishers and McCutcheon in the morning to advance to the championship bracket for the afternoon. Your Rocks then beat Zionsville 2-0 (25-21 & 25-19) and then played HSE for the title and won a thrilling 3-set match 2-1 (25-21, 18-25 & 16-14). The team showed incredible unity and grit the entire season while posting an awesome 22-1 overall record and capturing a conference title by going 7-0 in the HCC. Thank you to our managers, Lukas Poore and Michael Terbish, for getting us ready to play and practice each and every day. Thank you to every member of our roster who each made major contributions to the final record and the titles earned...Jules Miller, Eden Wise, Anni Fish, Gwenny Terpening, Liv Bates, Ella Huff, Brooklyn Wallace, Reese Dewing, Maria Schmidt, Meredith Mears, Avery Pekala, Eva Clevenger, and Alex Fisher. Congratulations on an amazing season, ladies, and best of luck to those of you heading to sectionals with varsity. Ally and I were honored to be your coaches this season.
