Westfield opened sectional play with a semifinal match up against Lawrence North. Take some time to settle into the game, Westfield worked to get a few opportunities in the first half. The first goal came late in the first half on a ball from Brynn Sargent to a nice finish from Addie Colling. The Rocks went into halftime up 1-0. In the second half, Westfield created some chances early. Addie Colling finished her second goal of the night off a leading pass from Tatum Hauser. The final goal came on a crossing ball from Addie Colling to Kylie Ipsen who tucked it into the back of the net. Leah Hunsucker came up with a huge PK stop later in the game to keep the final score at 3-1 in favor of your Rocks. Westfield will play in the Sectional Championship game on Saturday evening.
