The Rocks softball team won their semi-final sectional game last night over Noblesville 4-3. Chloe Tanner pitched a complete game in the victory allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out four and walking three. Offensively the Rocks had seven hits in the game. Grace Fanelli had two hits including a double while Maggie Roh, Makayla Watson, Cara Snedeker, Ava Kainrath and Sam Breaux each had a hit. Breaux hit a triple in the second inning and scored and Kainrath hit her 10th homerun of the season in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game! Cara Snedeker earned a walk in the bottom of the seventh and later scored the winning run when Tanner hit a fly ball to left. The Rocks play in the sectional championship this evening against Hamilton Southeastern at 6:00 PM at Noblesville High School.
