Your JV girls volleyball team did something on Wednesday night that no other team had done against HSE JV volleyball in almost 8 years: WIN A MATCH. Your Rocks ended a streak of 202 consecutive matches won by HSE JV volleyball. We would like to recognize and congratulate Coach Larry Leonhardt and his amazing athletes for all they have accomplished to make that streak happen. We always look forward to competing against such a well-coached squad. The Rocks won in straight sets 2-0 by scores of 25-22 & 25-23. It was a total team effort with 5 service aces, 3 blocks, and 32 digs against only 3 errors. The offense was led by the setters Maria Schmidt and Ella Huff, who combined for 19 assists with zero errors. The leading attackers were Brooklyn Wallace with 6 kills and Eva Clevenger with 5. The Rocks are at home again against Mt. Vernon on Monday the 22nd.
