Westfield’s freshman boys soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brebeuf, thanks to a moment of brilliance from Liam Richardson and a stellar performance in goal by Jake Hrischuk. Richardson netted the game-winner with a brilliant solo effort, weaving through defenders before finishing confidently. On the other end, Hrischuk was rock solid in the net, making several key saves to preserve the clean sheet and secure the win for Westfield.
