The Rocks won a non-conference game Monday evening against previously unbeaten Western by a score of 8-3. Chloe Tanner pitched 4 1/3 innings allowing no runs on only two hits while striking out six. Makenzie Hiatt came in relief and pitch 2 2/3 innings allow three runs on five hits. Offensively junior Cara Snedeker and sophomore Ava Kainrath had two hits each in the game. Kainrath and junior Grace Fanelli had two RBIs each and Kainrath hit her ninth home run of the season and sophomore Avery Banas hit her second home run of the season. Freshman Sophie Easterhaus scored three runs and Tanner had a hit and RBI as well. The Rocks are 13-12 on the season and play Avon at home on Tuesday evening.
