Westfield out-hit Brownsburg eight to seven, but it wasn't enough in an 11-4 loss on Thursday. The Shamrocks took an early lead in the first inning. Delaney Balsbaugh drove in one when Balsbaugh singled. Kenzie Hiatt led things off in the pitcher's circle for Westfield. The hurler allowed four hits and six runs over three and a third innings, striking out two. Balsbaugh threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen. The Rocks tallied eight hits on the day. Lawrence and Hiatt each collected multiple hits for Westfield. Reese Mahannah hit a stand up triple to energize her team. Lawrence led the Rocks with three hits in four at bats.
