Westfield got things started in the first inning when Addison Greenwalt grounded out, scoring one run. After the Shamrocks scored one run in the top of the fifth, Center Grove answered with one of their own. The Rocks scored when Sofia Easterhaus singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Delaney Balsbaugh was in the pitcher's circle for Westfield. Balsbaugh went one and one-third innings, allowing ten runs on eight hits and striking out two. Kaylee Bowers threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Easterhaus went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Shamrocks in hits.
