The boys cross country team won the Harrison Invitational, beating the other 22 teams that attended, including a top 15 team in the state. This marked the first invitational win by the Shamrocks in a decade. The team was led by the trio of Bryce Pittman, Nathan McKeever, and Luke Moulder, all of whom finished within 5 seconds of each other and all finished in the top 16. Deagan Imel was the fourth finisher for the boys, finishing 25th place, due in large part to an incredible last kilometer. Carson Ackley rounded out the scorers, finishing just behind Imel in 26th place. Other competitors for the varsity team included Donovan Ledford, Chase Niccum, Dexter Hoffman, and JP Mikels, with McKeever, Moulder, Imel, and Hoffman all earning PRs. The varsity team will be back in action on Saturday at the Eagle Classic in Brown County.
