The Westfield Boys JV White Tennis Team took down University on Tuesday by a score of 9-2. Across the board the Rocks showed their grit and determination. A few match highlights: 2S: Freshman Carter Sherman took his match to the distance but came up just short, 7-8. 1D: Sophomores Benson Denniston and Zailin Xiang led the doubles teams with an 8-4 win. 2D: Sophomores Lukis Boyer and Ben Whipple pulled out an 8-4 win playing some great points. Freshmen Nick Groves and Taylor Trent played 2 matches and dropped just 1 game total. The Rocks are back in action at home on Wednesday against Brebeuf.
