The JV girls Volleyball team extended their win streak to begin the season to 3 matches with a victory over Trinity Lutheran on Saturday morning here at WHS. The Rocks came out strong winning the first set 25-6 and continued to be the aggressor in the second set outscoring Trinity 25-17. Eva Clevenger went on a couple long serving runs including delivering 3 aces which helped extend the lead in both sets. The team was led on defense by Liv Bates with 9 digs and Maria Schmidt with 8. The aggressive offensive attack was led by Reese Dewing, Avery Pekala and Meredith Mears who all hit .500 or better on the day. The Rocks look to extend their streak on Tuesday at Harrison and back at home on Thursday against Franklin Central.
