The boys' cross country team earned a dominant victory at the Plainfield Relays. This is a unique style of meet - in the varsity race, instead of competing individually, there are five pairs of two athletes who alternate running one mile at a time. Each athlete runs three miles. The boys were led by the pair of Bryce Pittman and Luke Moulder, who teamed up to finish 2nd place overall, followed directly by the pair of Nathan McKeever and Carson Ackley, who finished 3rd. The final scoring pair for the boys was Deagan Imel and Donovan Ledford, who finished 9th. Other competitors for the boys included the pair of Dexter Hoffman and Graham Hoffman, who finished 18th, followed by JP Mikels and Max Lynaugh, who finished 19th. This was the first win at this meet for the Shamrocks since 2021, and all 10 competitors for the varsity squad had outstanding performances. The Shamrocks are back in action on Saturday at the Hamilton County Championships at White River Elementary in Noblesville.
