JV Girls Volleyball Defeats Pendleton Heights

The JV girls volleyball team took to the road Thursday night for their first away match of the season and came away with a solid 2-0 win by scores of 25-12 & 25-21 over Pendleton Heights. The offense really carried the night as setter Maria Schmidt dished out a team high 14 assists as the team hit a combined .477 with only one attack error all night. Meredith Mears and Eva Clevenger led the attack with 6 and 5 kills respectively. Jules Miller helped anchor the defense with a team leading 8 digs and the team tallied 5 blocks to slow down the Arabians. The Rocks will play Trinity Lutheran at home on Saturday morning looking to extend their undefeated start to the season.
