The Westfield Shamrocks had everything working on Tuesday, winning big over Fishers Junior Varsity Tigers 15-2. The team played solid defense and their bats came alive. It was a great team win. In the first inning, the Shamrocks got their offense started. An error scored one run for Westfield. The Rocks put up five runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught by Westfield was led by Brittany Dollens, Jordan Clark, Sofia Easterhaus, and Lilly Amburgey, who all drove in runs. Kenzie Hiatt took the win for Westfield. Hiatt went six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking zero. The Shamrocks scattered ten hits in the game. Hiatt, Easterhaus, Amburgey, and Julia Stormer each racked up multiple hits for Westfield. Stormer, Amburgey, Easterhaus, and Hiatt each collected two hits to lead the team. The Rocks are back in action tonight at home against Zionsville.
