It was an exciting night of tennis as the Lady Rocks JV Tennis team took on Guerin Catholic on Thursday, May 15th at home. The ladies showed off the work they've been putting in this season and came out with some great wins. 1S: Kendall Omer had a hard fought defeat 1-8 2S: senior Addison Laub brought home the lone singles victory 8-5 3S: Emerson Dierkes put in a strong effort but dropped her match 4-8 1D: Rayna Roy and freshman Jilly Omer had close games in their 0-8 loss 2D: Kiersten Wettschurack and Caroline Hopkins put together a great strategy and came out with an 8-5 victory 3D: Reese Miller and Ava Bell put in the tough work to defeat their opponents 8-5 4D: senior Gabby Smith and Olivia Jones made a dominant team with an 8-0 win 5D: senior Kendall Gapinski and freshman Rebecca Doye worked well together to add an 8-2 win to the Rocks tally 6D: senior Aubrey Frohardt and freshman Parker Laub brought home their court 8-2 7D: senior Audrey Six and Audrey Hanson added another win 8-5 8D: Jillian Pilcher and Erin Ramsey bested their opponents 8-3 9D: Lauryn Sutcliffe and Mia Anderson followed suit with an 8-3 win 10D: Sophie Ewing and Olivia Essex gave it their all but dropped their court 2-8 11D: freshmen Emily Gravenstein and Evie Winkler fought until the very last point but sadly dropped their match in a tiebreak 7-8(2) 12D: Carlie Raines and Varshini Mandli made a victorious pair bringing in a 6-4 win 13D: Bella Elicher and senior Aubrey Frohardt rounded out the team match with a 6-0 victory The Lady Rocks are back in action on Friday at Park Tudor.
