Westfield JV Green were triumphant over Hamilton Southeastern 7-3 on Wednesday. Westfield opened the scoring in the first after Olivia Sampia singled, scoring one run. The Shamrocks scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to center field by Adelyn Kurth on a 3-0 count. Sampia earned the win in the circle for the Shamrocks. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and three runs over six and one-third innings, striking out six and walking none. Kurth appeared in relief for Westfield. Ali Kainrath, Sampia, and Kurth each collected two hits for the Shamrocks. Kainrath, Sampia, and Kurth each drove in two runs. The Shamrocks played lock down defense and didn't commit a single error.
