Westfield JVW Rocks were triumphant over Pendleton Heights 8-6 on Monday. Westfield JVW Rocks flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring seven runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Will Marciniec that drove in two. Will Siurek earned the win for Westfield JVW Rocks. The reliever surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Beau Kurtz stepped on the hill first for Westfield JVW Rocks. The starter gave up five hits and four runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Colton Knotts threw two innings of zero-run ball for Westfield JVW Rocks in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out three and walking none. Marciniec drove the middle of the lineup, leading Westfield JVW Rocks with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Marciniec and James Knight each collected two hits for Westfield JVW Rocks. Marciniec and Knight each stole multiple bases for Westfield JVW Rocks.
