The Westfield Shamrocks JVW defeated Franklin Central 7-3 on Thursday. Collin Kern started on the mound for the Rocks going 3 innings with 3 strikeouts, and allowing 2 runs. Michael Morris closed the game pitching 1 inning with 1 strikeout and allowed 1 run. The game was stopped after the end of the 4th inning due to lack of lights on the field. The Shamrocks didn't take the lead until the top of the 3rd inning when Luke Russell doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs. The Shamrocks put up four runs in the fourth inning when Aiden Grabowski, Brady Bafia, and Russell all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
