The Rocks softball team earned their first conference win of the season last night by beating Franklin Central 10-6. Sophomore Ava Kainrath led the Rocks offensively by going 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, her fourth HR of the early season and four RBI’s. Avery Banas and Maggie Roh each had two hits in the game. Grace Fanelli hit her first home run of the early season as well. Sophomore Chloe Tanner pitched four innings, allowed three hits, one walk, one earned run. Shea Vohs pitched two innings allowing three runs while striking out two. The Rocks play again on Thursday evening at Pendleton at 5:30 PM.
