The Rocks varsity softball team won a back and forth game against Carmel on Wednesday evening 13 - 9. The Rocks offense hit four home runs by Cara Snedeker, Allie Dolenc and two by Ava Kainrath. Snedeker’s home run, her second in the season, in the third was a grand slam. Dolenc hit her second of the season and Kainrath with her second and third of the early season. Sophomore Chloe Tanner pitched through tough conditions to earn the victory. She allowed 8 earned runs while allowing 13 hits and striking out six. Defensively the Rocks were solid with great plays by several players. Snedeker led the team with three assists and four put outs. The Rocks play again on the road this coming Friday against North Central at 5:30 PM
