Varsity Softball started season with a win against Decatur Central on Monday evening 20-5. The team had a great night at the plate with 20 runs on 19 hits including five home runs from Maggie Roh, Avery Banas, Ava Kainrath, Allie Dolenc and Cara Snedeker. Chloe Tanner had four hits and four RBIs, Kainrath, Dolenc and Banas each had three hits. Defensively, Chloe Tanner pitched the complete game and allowed five runs on eight hits with nine strikeouts and three walks. The Rocks play again on Wednesday evening against Carmel.
