Westfield JVW Rocks snatched the lead late in their 7-5 victory over Noblesville on Wednesday. The game was tied at five in the top of the sixth when a wild pitch scored two runs. Westfield JVW Rocks got on the board in the top of the first inning when Conner Maggart singled on a line drive to center , Colt Brady grounded out scoring Maggart, then Will Marciniec singled, Beau Kurtz Singled and Sullivan Meehan singled to score Marciniec. Noblesville took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Clark walked, and Stewert singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Noblesville committed an error, which helped Westfield JVW Rocks tie the game at three in the top of the fourth. In the top of the fifth, Westfield JVW Rocks broke up the tie when Will Dyer singled, scoring one run. Then a double play followed to extend the lead to 5-3. Noblesville tied the game up in the bottom of the fifth thanks to two singles. Jack Stuckey earned the win for Westfield JVW Rocks. The reliever allowed three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Carter Greeman opened the game for Westfield JVW Rocks. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs over two innings, striking out one and walking two. James Knight collected the save with 2 scoreless innings giving up 0 hits and had 1 strikeout. Westfield JVW Rocks accumulated 11 hits in the game. Dyer, Meehan, Barrett Fuller, and Will Marciniec each collected two hits for Westfield JVW Rocks. Conner Maggart, Beau Kurtz, and Ben Vollmer each had 1 hit.
