The JV Rocks traveled to Franklin Central on Friday night to take on the Flashes for their last conference clash of the season. The game went back and forth during the first half. The Flashes held a one point lead after the first quarter, but the JV Rocks were able to regain the lead by 1, 23-22 heading into halftime. Westfield came out flat in the second half, digging themselves into an 8 point hole after the third quarter. The JV Rocks trailed by 10 points with 5 minutes to go in the game, but they turned up their defensive pressure, forced turnovers, and made crucial shots to come back and take the lead with little time left. Franklin Central was forced to start fouling, and the JV Rocks held on for a two point victory. Brock Detamore led the team with 16 points. Cooper Jackson had 11 points, and Carsen Melvin added 8 points. The JV Rocks finish 4-3 in the HCC.
