Westfield (5-0/2-0) looked to close out their Spring Break trip with a doubleheader against the Goodpasture Cougars. The Rocks scored seven runs in the first three innings and cruised to a 12-2 win in game one. Owen Swinford started for the Rocks and earned the win with 3.1 innings of work, allowing just two hits while walking four and striking out five. Logan Robe pitched 1.2 innings of relief, allowing no hits and striking out two. Corey Wilhelm pitched two innings of relief allowing no hits and striking out five. Wilhelm only threw one ball in 18 pitches! Offensively, Lincoln Hoffman led the way going 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBI. Ethan Colling was 1 for 2 with a home run and a RBI. Nick Fero was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. Drew Law was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and a stolen base. Caden Lindsey was 1 for 2 with a stolen base and Anthony Cimini and Andrew Noble each collected a hit in the game.
