Rocks Defeat Trousdale 21-0

Westfield traveled to Friendship Christian Academy to play a double header on Friday. In game one, Westfield squared off against Trousdale High School and, again, scored early and often pounding out 15 hits on the day on their way to a 21-0 victory. JP Mears started for the Rocks and earned the win with two innings pitched allowing just one hit and striking out two. Matthew Spencer also pitched two innings, denying any hits while walking one and striking out three. Corey Wilhelm finished the game with an inning of relief, striking out two. Offensively, Gavin Russ had a monster day going 3 for 4 with a double, two Grand Slams and 8 RBI! Kasen Jessup was 2 for 2 with a triple, 2 RBI and a stolen base. Aiden Grabowski was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI while Cade Defendis was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Andrew Noble was 2 for 3 with an RBI on the day as well.
