The Shamrocks won big over Franklin Central 13-1 on Tuesday. The Shamrocks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Alyvia Browne singled to right field, Olivia Sampia hit a sacrifice fly, and Franklin Central committed an error, each scoring one run. The Shamrocks scored five runs on five hits in the top of the second inning. Cam Pulice doubled, scoring one run, Sampia singled, scoring two runs, and Hayden Rice singled, scoring two runs. Sampia began the game in the circle for the Shamrocks. Sampia gave up three hits and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Kaylee Graff threw two innings of shutout ball for the Shamrocks in relief. Graff allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none. The Shamrocks accumulated 11 hits in the game. Sampia drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Shamrocks with three runs batted in. Adelyn Kurth went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Shamrocks in hits.
