Junior Varsity: The JV boys volleyball team hosted Lawrence North for their first home match of the season and came away with a solid 2-0 victory with set scores of 25-11 & 25-7. This improved the season record to 2-0. It was a total team effort with contributions from all rostered players. The team hit an amazingly efficient .640 on the night with impressive performances by Barrett Jaynes, Aidyn Kuzma and Xavier Lyon all tied for the team lead with 4 kills apiece and not a single error for any of them. The stellar back row defense of AJ Walsh, Steven Alvarez and Felipe Rivera allowed the offense to get in system and run our plays. All three boys volleyball teams will be in action at home again on Monday versus HSE. Varsity: The Men's Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Lawrence North on Thursday in 3 quick sets, 25-11, 25-10, 25-8. The Rocks were led by senior Carlo Huisden with 8 kills and 3 aces, setter Graham Weddige had 16 assists and 2 aces. Nick Gerow and Max Hammond chipped in with 4 kills a piece and Graham France had 3 solo blocks and 3 kills in the win. The Rocks are now 4-2 on the season.
