It's qualifying time for the indoor state track meet, and the boys track and field team competed in two events last weekend and had several outstanding performances. The team went to Indiana Wesleyan University Friday and Saturday and walked away with some good early qualifying performances. The best of them was the 4x800 m relay of Luke Moulder, Maxim Poirier, Caleb Haney, and Will Snedeker. Their outstanding time of 8:04.01 currently stands as the #2 team in the state. Also outstanding was the 4x400 relay of Caleb Terril, Poirier, Haney and Snedeker whose time of 3:29.22 is currently #6. Also putting himself solidly in the field was Robert Campbell who had a high jump of 6'4" which is currently tied for 5th. Currently on the outside of qualifying, but very close, are Alex Wilson and Lucas Bland in the pole vault, Ty Conner, Owen Mohler, and Nathan McKeever in the 3200, and Cato June in the 60m dash. Other good performances were turned in by Maison McCray, Broc Parker, Kaleb Johnson, Charlie Naas, Ridge Wallerstedt, Ryd Wallerstedt, Braeden Dewes, Carson Faulconer, Alex Aramboles, and Isaac Cole.
