The third quarter was played almost even, and the Rocks went into the 4th quarter down by 9. It was in the 4th quarter that senior, Durante Morton, took over. Detamore missed the first free throw, but calmly sank the next two in order to tie the game. Detamore opened OT with an "and-1" finish at the rim, giving the Rocks a 3-point lead, which they would ultimately extend to 4 points before the game ended. The game caps an incredible regular season for the Varsity Rocks, who finish 18-3 overall and ranked #3 in the state. The Rocks were led in scoring by Durante Morton (26), Will Harvey (11), Jalen Malone (10), Brock Detamore (7). The Rocks will take on #1 Fishers on Tuesday, March 4 in the first round of the sectional.
