It was a hard fought battle for the Shamrocks in the County Semifinals as they fell to HSE 59-52. Down 16-18 at half, the boys rallied to take a 37-31 lead into the fourth after a few clutch threes by Tucker Marvel, Ashton Reid, and Cooper Melvin. However, that was where the good fortune ended as the fourth quarter turned into a turnover fest that had the boys down multiple possessions. Ashton Reid hit a big 3 to cut the lead to 3 before HSE scored a layup on the other end and never looked back. Leaders of the game were Ashton Reid with 18, Cooper Melvin with 11, and Andrew Noble with 7. The Rocks next chance is against Zionsville Thursday night in the HCC Conference quarterfinal at WHS.
