The Lady Rocks C Team competed in the HCC Tournament this past weekend and came away victorious. In the first matchup of the day, the Rocks faced off against the Fishers Tigers and came out strong, taking a commanding 20-2 lead after the first quarter. The Rocks pushed the ball well in transition and controlled the pace from tip off until the final buzzer. Audra Parker led all scorers with 18 points, including four from beyond the arc and shooting 78% total from the field. Gracie Czubik and Olivia Murray each contributed 12 points, with Czubik grabbing 6 boards and Murray shooting 100% from the charity stripe. Arri Cooke-Dennis had 5 steals and Kate Roh tallied 5 assists. The Rocks took on HSE in the Championship game. It was a slower paced game, and some of the Lady Rocks battled foul trouble, yet they maintained composure and controlled the game from start to finish. Gracie Czubik led scorers with 12 points and Arri Cooke-Dennis closely followed with 10. Kate Roh chipped in 6. Lauren Linville helped control the defense and shot 75% from the FT line.
