The Rocks had a solid showing at sectionals on Saturday placing 12 out of 14 wrestlers in the top 6 and advancing 7 wrestlers onto regionals. Westfield had 5 finalists: Porter Temples, Jake Saez, Ike O’Neill, Eli Frei, and Jonathan Tanner. #8 ranked senior Ike O’Neill brought home his 2nd consecutive sectional title. Senior #20 ranked Jonathan Tanner had a dominate performance picking up a 2nd period fall in the finals to bring home a sectional championship. Senior Jason Rooney and Junior Chase Camire also advanced to their second consecutive regional appearance. The Rocks are back on the mat next weekend for regionals at North Montgomery High School.
