The Varsity Rocks lost at home on Saturday night when Liberty Christian came to town. The Rocks were flat to start the game, and dur themselves into a 15 point deficit after the first quarter. Liberty Christian grew the lead to 16 by half. The Rocks found some energy after halftime and started their comeback, outscoring Liberty Christian 26-12, and cutting their lead to two. The Rocks actually took the lead in the fourth quarter, but the game went back and forth until the end, when Liberty Christian held the ball for the last shot with the game tied. L.C. was able to score a basket at the buzzer to win the game. Trey Buchanan led the Rocks with 16 points, Sam Bishop had 13, and Alex Romack had 9 points. Seth LaRavia added 6 points.
