After a rough start getting into foul trouble early on, the Lady Rocks C team pushed through to a dominate performance in the first round of the HCC Tournament versus the Avon Orioles. Leading by only 4 points after the first quarter, they picked up their intensity and made their presence known. The Rocks pushed the ball well in transition and scored easy baskets due to their quick pace and defensive pressure. They never looked back, only allowing 3 field goals for the remainder of the game. Gracie Czubik lead the team in scoring with 17 points, while Arri Cooke-Dennis followed with 9. Evy Fortune chipped in 7, and dominated the game off the glass. The Rocks are back in action on Saturday, at Fishers, where they will vie for the HCC championship.
