The Freshman Rocks grinded out another victory on the road Monday night at Hamilton Heights. A slow start offensively and a sub par half defensively had the Rocks down 19-21 at the half. A big run by the home squad had the Rocks down 8 early in the third quarter. A couple big 3’s by Codey Gearhart and Kaleb Brown sparked a comeback that had the game tied 34-34 going into the fourth. The Rocks locked in defensively in the fourth and made their free throws to pull out the 48-43 victory after Clay Michel iced the game at the line. The Rocks were led by 12 points from Ashton Reid, 8 from Kaleb Brown, and 7 from Cooper Melvin. In the B game, Simon Falvey had a double double tallying 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Rocks have two more games this week, both at home.
