The Lady Rocks got a big road win this Saturday against the Indians of Indian Creek 40-24. The guard play of Mia Crask and Meg Hamilton got the Rocks going early scoring 9 of the Rocks 13 first quarter points. Kate Roh was big off the bench in the second knocking down 5 points for the Rocks. The Rocks defense picked up in the second holding the Indians to just 3 points in the quarter and the Rocks went into the half up 14. The Indians came out of the half aggressive to try to get back into the game. They outscored the Rocks 11-6 in the quarter and cut the lead to 9 heading into the forth. Sam Price knocked down two quick baskets in the 4th and the Rocks allowed only 1 field goal to secure the victory. Meg Hamilton led the Rocks with 9 points, Sam Price chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The JV Rocks are back in action Thursday when they travel to Brownsburg for a JV only game tipping at 6:00.
