The Freshman Rocks grinded out another victory Wednesday night on the road at Franklin Central. Long bus rides can easily turn into slow starts, but not when Andrew Noble is around. 4 quick points and a couple steals got the Rocks started on the right foot and the rest of the team fed off the energy. The first have was highlighted by two big Cooper Melvin 3’s to put the Rocks ahead 16-12 at the half. The first 3 minutes of the second half often can decide the fate of a game and tonight was no different as Noble scored 7 quick ones and Codey Gearhart hit a big 3 to absolutely set the tone in the second half. Other big performances were Ashton Reid going 4/4 from the free throw line and Max Vandegriff with 3 blocks. The Rocks have one final stop on their 4 game in 6 days stretch Thursday night at HCC foe Hamilton Southeastern. As always… it’s a great day to be a Shamrock!
