The Lady Rocks held off a pesky Avon team Tuesday night winning the game 56 to 48. It was a slow start in the first half but the Rocks closed the half only down 1. In the second half the Rocks exploded offensively scoring 17 points in the 3rd and 18 in the 4th. Sam Price led the way with 18 points. MaKayla Hatcher finished with 13. Meg Hamilton added 10 to round out the trio of double digit scorers. Aubrey Crockett & Lindsey Van Dyke added 7 & 8 respectively. It was also teacher appreciation night where the team was able to recognize and thank their most impactful teachers at WHS. The Rocks are back in action at Noblesville on Saturday.
