The JV Lady Rocks got their first win of 2023 over the Trojans of Bishop Chatard 51-17. Madeline Linville got the Rocks going early scoring 5 of the Rocks 9 first quarter points, and the Rocks were up 9-4 after one. Sophomore Sam Price dominated the glass in the second pulling down 6 boards, and hitting 3-5 free throws and the Rocks took a 10 point lead going into the half. The second half belonged to the Rocks as the out scored Bishop Chatard 30-8. Makayla Hatcher scored 6 of her game high 8 points in the third, and Gracie Czubik was big off the bench scoring 4 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in the fourth. The Rocks were led in scoring by Hatcher with 8, M. Linville had 7, and Czubik chipped in 6. The JV Lady Rocks are back in action next Thursday in a JV only game at HSE. Game time is 6:00.
