The Lady Rocks opened 2023 with a win over the Trojans of Bishop Chatard 42-13. The Rocks stifling defense was strong throughout the night allowing only five made field goals. At halftime the Rocks led 22-4. The strong effort continued in the second half to give the Rocks their first win of the new year. On the night 13 players entered the game and were paced by Lindsey Van Dyke with 13 points. She was followed by Ellie Kelleher with 7 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds. The Lady Rocks are back in action next Thursday and Friday night with JV heading to Hamilton Southeastern on Thursday with varsity to follow on Friday.
