The JV Rocks took on a tough Mt. Vernon team Tuesday night, and won on the road. Mt. Vernon’s JV squad took the lead early, but the JV Rocks responded, regained the lead and cruised into halftime. In the third quarter, the JV Rocks sputtered, and Mt. Vernon was able to tie the game. From that point, Westfield went on an 11-0 run, and controlled the rest of the game. Ian Wilson led the team with 12 points. Drew Haffner and Carson Melvin added 9, and Brock Detamore and Durante Morton scored 7.
