The Varsity Rocks took on the Noblesville Millers, at home, Friday night for a conference clash. The teams went back and forth in the first quarter, but the Rocks held an 11-7 lead by the end of it. Westfield held a small lead throughout the second quarter, but the Millers took advantage of a late turnover to end the half on a 4-0 run, which tied the game. The second half was more of the same, with the two teams trading blows back and forth. Noblesville held a one point lead going into the fourth, but the Rocks responded and regained the lead, which they were able to stretch to 5 points by the time all was said and done. It was a hard fought game by both teams in front of a full gym. Trey Buchanan led the rocks with 17, including five 3-pointers. Alex Romack added 15, and Sam Bishop chipped in 6.
