The Varsity Shamrocks used a 17 point first quarter to propel them to a victory Saturday afternoon against a relentless Pendleton Heights team. The Rocks went into the half up 30 to 15. The Arabians stormed back in the 2nd half, but the Rocks were able to hold on down the stretch to come away with the victory. Sam Price led the way with 19 points on the day. Meg Hamilton provided a spark of toughness and energy scoring while scoring 9 points herself. Lindsey Van Dyke and Aubrey Crockett each added 8 points. The Rocks gear up to host the bears of Lawrence Central this Wednesday night at home.
