Westfield finished out the 2024 season competing at the IHSAA State finals at the famed LaVern GIbson cross country course in Terre Haute, Indiana and the day did not disappoint. It was a "Sweet Sixteen" day for the Rocks as they placed 16th in the team standings with 369 points. Alivia Lozier finished off her already spectacular season also with a 16th place finish in a time of 18:07 to earn All-State honors! Lozier is the first Westfield girl to place All-State (Top 25) in cross country since 2007 when the Rocks had 3 runners place in the top 25 on that years state championship team. Lozier became the 8th girl from Westfield to earn All-State in honors in cross country and her time of 18:07 is the fastest ever by a Westfield runner at the State meet. Mackenna Condon was the next Westfield finisher in her first state meet placing 107th overall in a time of 19:30. Gianna Ferreri was the 3rd finish for the Rocks also going under 20 minutes in 19:46 to finish 130th. Remaining runners for Westfield that filled the state meet lineup included Sam Foster (160th), Jordyn Landrum (177th), Emily Loiselle (189th), and Carly Davis (202nd). Thank you to everyone who followed along and supported Westfield girls cross country in the 2024 season! Go Rocks!
